On October 19th, 2007, JK Rowling revealed to the world that Albus Dumbledore is a homosexual.

- Dumbledore always went against the grain with Muggle rights, as well as never backing down against Voldemort's return. He wasn't afraid what people would think of him. So why would he be hiding his sexuality from the wizarding world? It is very unlike Dumbledore, something that he would not do. - Dave G.

- In the first book, first chapter, Dumbledore tells McGonagall that he has a scar above his left knee, for really no reason at all. Why would Dumbledore want to remind a woman about anything above his left knee if he's gay? Nah, he was definitely making a move on her there. - Erfa
